AQEEL TABANI

Mr. Aqeel Tabani is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and also an Associate member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP). He is a partner at Assurance and Business Advisory Services in Tabani & Sheikhani, Chartered Accountants. Mr. Tabani has over 17 years of experience in providing assurance and accounting services. During his career, he has worked as an Audit Manager with KPMG and also acted as Manager at Sui Southern Gas Company Limited. He has successfully served as a CFO for one of the largest cement manufacturers in Pakistan. He possesses vast experience in restructuring the Accounts and MIS departments of various organizations. Such assignments involved documentation of work and transaction flows and recommending improvements thereon, redesigning source documents and charts of accounts to facilitate line and functional authorities in the timely finalization of accounts, and implementation of computerized accounting software. To corporate and business consulting services, Mr. Tabani is also involved in the formation of companies, related business advisory and secretarial services. He has attended various national conferences and seminars on assurance services, and corporate and tax laws.

DANIAL MARFANI

Mr. Danial Marfani is a seasoned professional with two decades of diverse expertise in the realms of Finance and Risk Management. He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Karachi and is also an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA), a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (FCCA), and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

Throughout his career, Mr. Danial has been affiliated with various corporate entities, holding senior-level positions in companies within the Information Technology, Logistics, and Insurance sectors. Furthermore, Mr. Danial has engaged with numerous international clients on an independent basis, providing invaluable assistance in crafting comprehensive business plans and financial models to facilitate fundraising endeavors from private equity investors, banks, and government organizations. Notably, he has played a pivotal role in helping over 70 businesses secure approximately $40 million in funding for initiatives related to business startups, working capital, inventory, and commercial property loans.

MUHAMMAD ALI ASLAM

Muhammad Ali Aslam is a Qualified Chartered Accountant holding Fellow Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Pakistan (ICAP). He has over 15 years of experience in the field of Business Finance, Financial Analysis, Accounting Processes & Controlling. He has a strong background in developing and implementing accounting strategies, documenting business processes, providing accurate financial data, developing business plans, financial valuations, feasibility studies, project finance and due diligence, particularly in the Oil and gas Sector. Currently, he is working as General Manager of Finance at a renowned Oil & Gas Company. He also possesses vast of linking the finance function with Information Technology including the implementation of ERP and the application of various data analytical tools (Advance Excel & Power BI) to analyze big data.

MEHMOOD SHEIKHANI

Mr. Sheikhani is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).

He has also earned a Masters in Economics from the Karachi University. Before joining ADAM Consulting as a Director, Mr. Sheikhani served as a CFO and company Secretary for a listed company and a as Cost Controller in one of Pakistan’s top oil refineries. Mr. Sheikhani started his career as an audit junior with Deloitte Pakistan (at that time represented by Khalid Majid Husain Rehman) and completed his mandatory articles in 2003.

He possesses over 20 years of experience in the field of Accounting, Finance, and Tax during which he handled issues relating to feasibilities, project financing, cash flow management, devising internal controls, Income Tax, Sales Tax Corporate Matters, etc.

Currently, he has been engaged in Outsourcing businesses and business consulting in respect of the following.

  • Assisting clients in the establishment of businesses that can be tax-effective considering their needs
  • Suggesting/reviewing the current business cycle to suggest the best outsourcing options
  • Formulating tax beneficial strategies and VAT (Value Add Tax) planning.
  • Preparing and helping in the development of project feasibilities.
  • Development/suggestion of ineffective internal controls for the organization
  • Supervision assignments involving E-Filing of Sales Tax & Excise and Income Tax Returns.
  • Replying to departmental audit observations on behalf of the clients.
  • Preparation of feasibility studies
